__________________________________________________________Approved Premises ManagerSalary: £37,411–£44,707 per annum (Band 6)The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the management of the sole Approved Premise in Derbyshire - Burdett Lodge, in the city of Derby. The post holder will lead and manage the Approved Premises (AP) staff team and the delivery of services to Burdett Lodge residents in accordance with the National AP Strategy. This is a challenging and rewarding post which will provide opportunities for skills and career development, in particular developmental AP work on a regional basis. The AP Manager is a member of the corporate management team and there are opportunities to take part in the development of policy and management approaches at Area level. This post is considered a specialist secondment and follows the career development and deployment policy i.e the secondment is for a minimum period of 3 years up to a maximum of 5 years. Depending on the outcome of the regional AP work and other moves it is envisaged that at the end of the secondment the postholder will be able to consider a wide variety of management positions across the County, not least a substantive SPO post on band 5. ADMINISTRATORPOLICE HEADQUARTERS, RIPLEYStarting salary pro rata to £15,736 rising to £19,710We are looking to recruit a part time administrator to provide administrative support for the Violent and Sex Offender Register (ViSOR) database. Working within the Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) Co-ordination Unit, alongside Police ViSOR Administrators in the Public Protection Unit at Derbyshire Constabulary Headquarters, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining and updating records on this new database which supports joint activity between the Police, Prison and Probation Services in managing serious offenders. The work pattern will be Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday; a total of 20 hours. It is essential that you will have: *Day to day experience of using spreadsheets and databases *Excellent Typing and Word Processing skills (RSA III or equivalent). *Good communication, organisational and prioritisation skills. *Previous experience in a secretarial/administrative environment. *Initiative and motivation.
