Conclusion of 2010/11 Audit of Accounts

The Trust's Auditors have completed the audit of the 2010/11 Accounts and an unqualified opinion and the audit certificate was issued on 13th July 2011. On the same date they also issued an unqualified conclusion on the Authority's arrangements for securing value for money. There was no reason to issue a report in the public interest under Section 8 of the Audit Commission Act 1998.

Section 14 of the Audit Commission Act 1998 provides that a local government elector for the area of Derbyshire Probation Trust may -

• inspect and make copies of any statement of accounts prepared by the body pursuant to regulations under Section 27 of the Accounts
• inspect and make copies of any report, other than an immediate report, made to the Trust by an auditor; and
• require copies of any such statement or report to be delivered to him on payment of a reasonable sum for each copy.
